what advice do you have for young artists/producers trying to get their name out there?
do exactly what YOU want and what you want to be known for. if you spend your time making art that you only make so that other people will like it, and either everyone does like it, then you’re left with fame for something you don’t even think of as you. it’s not really you, and if no one likes it, then you’re left with the fact that no one likes. no matter if you make it or you don’t, be true to yourself.

Working with Afterlaughs
We in the Life is Strange team love seeing all the fan art and cosplays that our community creates and comes up with on a daily basis and we try to share some of it whenever possible.
The artist Afterlaughs (@ohnoafterlaughs) was very well known to us from her previous work in the Life is Strange community. For Before the Storm, we therefore decided it would be awesome if we ourselves commissioned Afterlaughs to create scenes of Chloe and Rachel’s life that you may not otherwise see over the narrative of the game itself, and these scenes will be released over the coming months.
They’re not meant to extend the story of the games as such, but are touch points for you to imagine what life for the two might be like. We’ve chosen #TheOne hashtag as a guiding principle for this set of images and we’ll try to focus on scenes that you (or Chloe) could imagine yourself taking part in alongside The One person who changed your life in such a meaningful way that their very presence defines that time of your life.
We hope that you’ll enjoy Afterlaugh’s work as much as we did collaborating on them!

Most of tumblr activity is on mobile and this feature is hurting many small creators like myself. Our activity is dropping rapidly as our content is being buried under more “popular” content creators that automatically get put on the top of your dash.
Support ALL content creators and turn this off, please. It sucks having our work be pushed to the bottom never to be seen.
